I Can't Sleep

2002-03-18::3:19 a.m.

Ok, so I am a fucking d-land junkie tonight, I can't help it. Just when I thought I was going to bed, I discovered that AK updated his site. It's really a fucking shame that he didn't want to be friends, because I swear we have too much in common sometimes. If he only knew. Anyway, I am so over that, back to business. I decided to check the weather tonight before signing off, and did you know, it's going to be fucking 29 degrees Friday? How fucking ridiculous is that? I hate my life. Goddamn I want to be back in sunny Georgia. Oh hey, for those interested, Maria ditched me tonight, but I baked the cookies anyway, and because I am retarded and felt it necessary to double the recipe, I have like 8 dozen cookies in my home. If you like peanut butter and chocolate chips, you know where to reach me. Oh man, have I told ya, have I told ya, about my new favorite pastime? I finally got my hands on The Sims Hot Date, (for some reason the stores near my home were perpetually out of it), and can I just say it is the greatest thing since sliced bread? I love how they totally designed this game with pathetic, socially inept girls like me, who live vicariously through their Sims, in mind. Countless hours over the last three weeks have been wasted playing this game, and if I should fail to graduate this summer, you will know the cause of my demise. Ok, I think I am officially done now. I want to try to squeeze in some time to read The Coldest Winter Ever before bed. I don't know how much I have said about this book, but so far it is not anything at all like what I would usually read. It sells like you wouldn't believe at our store though, and the reviews are good, so I am hoping that it will draw me in soon, otherwise I will probably give up on it. I'll keep you posted.

My Smiths anthem is...'What She Said' My Smiths anthem is... "What She Said"
Snarl, cynic, snarl! Your philosophy and intellect seem to have gotten the best of you, and you seem to like it so far (at least outwardly). People? Who needs people when you have books and mountains of rationalization? Consider whether your bad luck in life may be the result of a matching mountain of self-pity, and try something new for a change (or someone new...)
"What She Said" is from Meat Is Murder.
