KITH 2002!!!!!

2002-04-08::12:00 p.m.

Hello Everyone!!! Why am I in such a cheery mood? Maybe because I just had sex with Bruce McCulloch! Ok, not really, but that is the story I am going with. So yeah, the Kids in the Hall were in D-town last night, and they were great. I love them so much. They did so many great sketches- Chicken Lady, Gavin, Buddy Cole, etc. But the best part was after the show, we bought our merch, and then we hung around the tour busses, hoping to catch a glimpse. We got better than that. Each one of the Kids came out one at a time and spent some time greeting the fans and signing autographs. So we got to see all of the Kids, and we actually got to meet Bruce McCulloch! He was great- he flirted with Katie, signed my KITH 2000 Tour DVD I bought, and took the time to chat with us a little. Of course I was so awestruck that all I managed to blurt out was, "You guys were excellent tonight. Thank you." How ugly and generic, I know, but I have a hard enough time talking to non-famous people. It didn't matter anyway though, because Bruce had obviously been drinking, and so he was super friendly with everyone, not saying that he wouldn't have been if he hadn't been drinking, but whatever, the point is that he was awesome, and even though I had a very limited, almost non-existent conversation with him, I still made eye contact and got my shit signed, and I was so excited and appreciative. Needless to say, Bruce has been upgraded to my very favorite now. He was always up there, but now he's number one. And here's another tidbit of info, he really is on the short side, maybe even a little shorter than I am, but he is a very attractive man. So cute. I love how I have a crazy stalker crush on him now.

I am also in an excellent mood because I got my taxes done today and I am getting close to $900 back, every other year I have owed them money, but this year my stocks did so bad that I am actually getting a nice sized return. My life couldn't get any better right now. To quote Julia Roberts on Oscar night, "I love my life!"

My Smiths anthem is...'What She Said' My Smiths anthem is... "What She Said"
Snarl, cynic, snarl! Your philosophy and intellect seem to have gotten the best of you, and you seem to like it so far (at least outwardly). People? Who needs people when you have books and mountains of rationalization? Consider whether your bad luck in life may be the result of a matching mountain of self-pity, and try something new for a change (or someone new...)
"What She Said" is from Meat Is Murder.
